The footprint
of design thinking
Organised by the University of the Basque Country (UPV) in Bilbao Design Week
When, in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology design thinking is taught as a business tool, and the Harvard Business Review dedicates its September edition to analysing Design Thinking, there is a rise in the interest of companies across the globe to take creative experiences and design processes to corporate management.
Coinciding with this, the Design Week of Bilbao dedicated an exhibition to the thinking process of the Spanish designer Manuel Estrada, showing his sketch notebooks. This exhibition, titled ‘The footprint of design thinking’, opened on 12 November in the Chillida room of the building the University of the Basque Country has opposite the Guggenheim Museum.
