From the idea to the cover

‘From the idea to the cover’ is the title of the exhibition at the Cervantes Institute that opens with the two large installations that have served as the image of the show on different occasions. The heart of the exhibition comprises the book and magazine covers and their design process.
More than 700 facsimiles of the original notebooks of sketches by Manuel Estrada, covering a large 12-metre wall, display cases containing notebooks and objects, which have served as the basis for the creation of book covers, large poster reproductions. They are all on display alongside the books and magazines themselves arranged directly on the wall, along with the texts and drawings produced directly by Manuel Estrada on the walls of the halls.
