Galería de las
Colecciones Reales
Identity and Applications
The Royal Collections Gallery is Spain’s key museum initiative of recent years.
The gallery, boasting the outstanding, award-winning architecture of Emilio Tuñón and Luis Moreno Mansilla, stands next to the Royal Palace of Madrid and will house some of the treasures of Spanish National Heritage.
The gallery’s identity expresses its vocation for modernity and, at the same time, the nature and origin of its collections, works of art and articles from the old Royal Collections.
Its brand is a simplified crown together with an initial small ‘g’ that form a sign that is, at once, compact and open.

Design of the commemorative logo/p>
José Saramago, the Portuguese writer and Nobel laureate, would have turned 100 in 2022. For this reason, the Saramago Foundation is promoting a series of events and publications, and to bring them together it has commissioned Estrada Design with the design of the centennial logo.
The logo was presented at the Palacio dos Bicos in Lisbon in May. It has two different variations: one that is only typeface, in which the number 100 is inserted into the word ‘Saramago’, and the other with a capital ‘S’, evoking José Saramago’s head and gaze.
